# In-game Guidelines
## General Guidelines for Stonelock

1. **Respect Everyone:**
* Always treat other players nicely, no matter their role or rank.
* Don't use bad language or behavior.
* Follow the instructions from players with higher ranks.
2. **Keep the Roleplay Real:**
* Act like your character and don't break the immersion.
* Follow the storyline and scenarios/orders given by higher-ranking officers.
## **1. Cuff Abuse**

You can only use cuffs in these situations:
1. Moving an inmate from one area to another (like to a cell or shower).
2. When an inmate goes into a restricted area.
3. Dealing with criminals.
4. If an inmate is spamming or causing trouble and needs to be returned to their cell.
5. Transferring an inmate to a different cell block.
6. If an inmate is armed or using a weapon.
7. If someone is breaking the rules (max 5 warnings).
**Penalties:**
* **1x =** Verbal Warning
* **2x =** Rank Warning + Server Ban
* **3x =** 1-Day Server Ban
* **4x =** Demotion/Termination + Server Ban (for repeated offenses)
## **2. Favoritism**

Favoritism includes:
* Treating some people better without reason.
* Promoting friends unjustly Promoting Friends is Strictly Forbidden.
**Penalties:**
* **1x =** Rank Warning
* **2x =** Rank Warning II
* **3x =** Demotion
## **3. Random Killing**

You can only kill inmates in these situations:
1. An inmate escapes the prison building.
2. Dealing with criminals.
3. An inmate is armed and trying to attack you (use cuffs if possible).
**Penalties:**
* **1x =** Warning
* **2x =** Rank Warning + Server Ban
* **3x =** 4-Day Suspension + Server Ban
* **4x =** Demotion/Termination + Server Ban (for repeated offenses)
## **4. Disrespect**

Disrespect includes:
* Ignoring staff or higher-ranking officers.
* Not following rules when instructed by higher ranks.
* Harassing or bothering others.
* Impersonating others after being told to stop.
* Not using common sense to know what's disrespectful.
* Not following orders from high-ranking members.
**Penalties:**
* **1x =** Verbal Warning
* **2x =** Rank Warning + Kick
* **3x =** Demotion + Kick (for major disrespect to high ranks)
## **5. Exploiting / Script Injecting / Backdoors**

Exploiting means using glitches or hacks to gain an unfair advantage. This is strictly forbidden.

Trolling means intentionally bothering or annoying other players.

## **7. Violations of ROBLOX ToS & Stonelock Tos**

Breaking ROBLOX Terms of Service & Stonelock Terms of Service, such as bypassing chat filters or scamming, is not allowed.
**Penalties:**
* **1x =** Blacklist (Permanent ban)

Door rules to keep the prison secure:
* Always close doors behind you.
* Don't let inmates through without supervision or a valid reason.
* Don't stand AFK (away from keyboard) inside a door.

## **9. Helping Inmates**

You cannot help inmates escape or give them tools.

## **10. Bypassing & Avoiding Punishment**

Bypassing means avoiding a punishment you received, like creating alternate accounts or rejoining the group to evade punishment.

## **11. Admin Abuse**

Admin Abuse means using admin powers the wrong way. As an admin, you must treat all players fairly and follow the rules. Here’s how to use your admin powers correctly:
**Rules:**
1. **Follow the Admin Handbook:** Always read and follow the rules in the Admin Handbook.
2. **Use Commands Right:** Only use admin commands for their main purpose, like helping players or keeping the game fair.
3. **No Favoritism:** Don’t use your powers to help friends or punish others unfairly.
4. **Report Problems:** If you see another admin misusing their powers, let a higher-up know right away.
**When to Use Admin Commands:**
* To handle players breaking the rules.
* To help fix game issues or make things run smoothly.
* To assist players who might be stuck or need help.
**Penalties for Admin Abuse:**
* **1x =** **Kick**
* **2x =** **Rank Warning**
* **3x =** **Demotion**
* **4x =** **Termination**
* **5x = Blacklist**
## **12. Leaving to Avoid Punishment**

* Exiting the game or going offline when disciplinary action is imminent.
* Attempting to evade consequences by leaving the session.
Penalties:

## **14. AFK Farming**

## **35. Inappropriate Character Names or Outfits**

Inappropriate Character Names or Outfits includes:
* Using names that are offensive or disruptive.
* Wearing outfits or items that block your name or rank.
**Not Allowed:**
* **Big Head** or any oversized item that hides your name or rank.
* Offensive items like **Headless Horseman Head** and any masks that cover your face in a bad way.
* Outfits that look like restricted characters or have offensive symbols.
**Penalties:**
* **1x** = Warning + Change your name/outfit
* **2x** = 1-Day Game Ban + Cannot wear restricted outfits
* **3x** = Demotion & Blacklist
## **36. AFK Grinding**
* Players are not allowed to AFK grind for more than **10 minutes**.
* Staff must have **clear and undeniable proof** (e.g., screenshots or video recordings) before issuing any punishment.
* Punishments for AFK grinding must be reviewed by a higher authority before enforcement.
* This rule is **appealable**, allowing players to contest any action taken against them.
**Penalties:**
* **1x** = Warning + Check if the player is really afk
* **2x** = Kick the player with a good reason
* **3x** = 1 day Game ban

* **Warning:** This can be Send a Ingame Text Warning that Contains a Strong Message to Tell the player to stop With there actions.
* **Rank Warning:** First notice of breaking rules Max 3 for Demotion.
* **Temporary Ban:** Short-term removal from the server use the command Timeban.
* **Suspension:** Temporary loss of privileges or rank.
* **Demotion/Termination:** Losing your rank or being removed from the group.
* **Blacklist:** Permanent ban from the server and group.

#### Appeal Process
You can appeal certain penalties by submitting a request in the communication servers and creating a ticket. Some offenses, like exploiting and breaking ROBLOX & Stonelock ToS, cannot be appealed.
