General Guidelines for Stonelock
Respect Everyone:
Always treat other players nicely, no matter their role or rank.
Don't use bad language or behavior.
Follow the instructions from players with higher ranks.
Keep the Roleplay Real:
Act like your character and don't break the immersion.
Follow the storyline and scenarios/orders given by higher-ranking officers.
1. Cuff Abuse
APPEALABLE
You can only use cuffs in these situations:
Moving an inmate from one area to another (like to a cell or shower).
When an inmate goes into a restricted area.
Dealing with criminals.
If an inmate is spamming or causing trouble and needs to be returned to their cell.
Transferring an inmate to a different cell block.
If an inmate is armed or using a weapon.
If someone is breaking the rules (max 5 warnings).
Penalties:
1x = Verbal Warning
2x = Rank Warning + Server Ban
3x = 1-Day Server Ban
4x = Demotion/Termination + Server Ban (for repeated offenses)
2. Favoritism
APPEALABLE
Favoritism includes:
Treating some people better without reason.
Promoting friends unjustly Promoting Friends is Strictly Forbidden.
Penalties:
1x = Rank Warning
2x = Rank Warning II
3x = Demotion
3. Random Killing
APPEALABLE
You can only kill inmates in these situations:
An inmate escapes the prison building.
Dealing with criminals.
An inmate is armed and trying to attack you (use cuffs if possible).
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = Rank Warning + Server Ban
3x = 4-Day Suspension + Server Ban
4x = Demotion/Termination + Server Ban (for repeated offenses)
4. Disrespect
APPEALABLE
Disrespect includes:
Ignoring staff or higher-ranking officers.
Not following rules when instructed by higher ranks.
Harassing or bothering others.
Impersonating others after being told to stop.
Not using common sense to know what's disrespectful.
Not following orders from high-ranking members.
Penalties:
1x = Verbal Warning
2x = Rank Warning + Kick
3x = Demotion + Kick (for major disrespect to high ranks)
5. Exploiting / Script Injecting / Backdoors
UNAPPEALABLE
Exploiting means using glitches or hacks to gain an unfair advantage. This is strictly forbidden.
Penalties:
1x = Blacklist (Permanent ban)
6. Trolling
APPEALABLE
Trolling means intentionally bothering or annoying other players.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = Kick
3x = 3-Day Game Ban
7. Violations of ROBLOX ToS & Stonelock Tos
UNAPPEALABLE
Breaking ROBLOX Terms of Service & Stonelock Terms of Service, such as bypassing chat filters or scamming, is not allowed.
Penalties:
1x = Blacklist (Permanent ban)
8. Door Abuse
APPEALABLE
Door rules to keep the prison secure:
Always close doors behind you.
Don't let inmates through without supervision or a valid reason.
Don't stand AFK (away from keyboard) inside a door.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = Rank Warning
9. Helping Inmates
APPEALABLE
You cannot help inmates escape or give them tools.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = 3-Day Game Ban
3x = Rank Warning
10. Bypassing & Avoiding Punishment
UNAPPEALABLE
Bypassing means avoiding a punishment you received, like creating alternate accounts or rejoining the group to evade punishment.
Penalties:
1x = Blacklist (Permanent ban)
11. Admin Abuse
SITUATION APPEALABLE
Admin Abuse means using admin powers the wrong way. As an admin, you must treat all players fairly and follow the rules. Here’s how to use your admin powers correctly:
Rules:
Follow the Admin Handbook: Always read and follow the rules in the Admin Handbook.
Use Commands Right: Only use admin commands for their main purpose, like helping players or keeping the game fair.
No Favoritism: Don’t use your powers to help friends or punish others unfairly.
Report Problems: If you see another admin misusing their powers, let a higher-up know right away.
When to Use Admin Commands:
To handle players breaking the rules.
To help fix game issues or make things run smoothly.
To assist players who might be stuck or need help.
Penalties for Admin Abuse:
1x = Kick
2x = Rank Warning
3x = Demotion
4x = Termination
5x = Blacklist
12. Leaving to Avoid Punishment
UNAPPEALABLE
Leaving to Avoid Punishment includes:
Exiting the game or going offline when disciplinary action is imminent.
Attempting to evade consequences by leaving the session.
Penalties:
1x = 1-Day Game ban
2x = 3-Day Game ban
3x = 7-Day Game ban
14. AFK Farming
APPEALABLE
AFK Farming means leaving your character inactive to gain in-game benefits without actually playing. This is strictly forbidden.
Penalties:
1x = Warning + Reset Stats
2x = 7-Day Game Ban
3x = Permanent Ban
15. False Reporting
APPEALABLE
False Reporting includes:
Reporting other players for issues that didn’t occur.
Filing complaints or accusations without evidence.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = 1-Day Game Ban
3x = Demotion + 7-Day Game Ban
16. Harassment & Bullying
APPEALABLE
Harassment and Bullying includes:
Repeatedly targeting or making offensive remarks toward other players.
Attempting to intimidate or control others unfairly.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = 3-Day Game Ban
3x = 7-Day Game Ban
4x = Blacklist (Permanent Ban)
17. Spawn Killing
APPEALABLE
Spawn Killing includes:
Attacking or killing players immediately after they respawn or appear in the game, without giving them a fair chance to react.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = Rank Warning + 1-Day Game Ban
3x = 3-Day Game Ban + Suspension
18. Weapon Abuse
APPEALABLE
Weapon Abuse includes:
Using weapons unnecessarily or outside of the appropriate situations.
Randomly firing weapons without cause, especially in non-combat zones.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = Rank Warning + 1-Day Game Ban
3x = 3-Day Game Ban + Demotion
19. Tool Spamming
SITUATION APPEALABLE
Tool Spamming includes:
Excessively using in-game tools (such as handcuffs, tazers, or other equipment) without reason.
Continuously disrupting gameplay with tool misuse.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = 3-Day Game Ban
3x = Rank Warning + Suspension
20. Insubordination
APPEALABLE
Insubordination includes:
Refusing to follow direct orders from higher-ranking officials.
Disregarding instructions in emergency situations or during organized events.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = Rank Warning
3x = Demotion + 1-Day Game Ban
21. Abusing Safe Zones
APPEALABLE
Abusing Safe Zones includes:
Staying in designated safe zones to avoid combat or punishment.
Using safe zones as a shield while attacking others outside of it.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = 2-Day Game Ban
3x = 5-Day Game Ban
22. Team Killing
APPEALABLE
Team Killing includes:
Attacking or killing members of your own team without justifiable reason.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = Rank Warning + 2-Day Game Ban
3x = 5-Day Suspension + Demotion
23. Glitch Exploitation
SITUATION APPEALABLE
Glitch Exploitation includes:
Using in-game bugs or glitches to gain an advantage or to disrupt gameplay.
Failing to report glitches that can be exploited.
Penalties:
1x = 3-Day Game Ban
2x = 7-Day Game Ban
3x = Permanent Ban (Blacklist)
24. Excessive Chat Spam
APPEALABLE
Excessive Chat Spam includes:
Rapidly sending messages in chat to flood or distract players.
Using caps lock excessively or repeating messages with the intent to annoy.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = 1-Day Game Ban
3x = 3-Day Game Ban
4x = Permanent Ban (Blacklist)
25. Unauthorized Teaming
APPEALABLE
Unauthorized Teaming includes:
Forming alliances with players you are meant to oppose (e.g., prison officer assisting inmates in escaping).
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = 2-Day Game Ban
3x = Rank Warning + 5-Day Game Ban
26. Disrupting Events
APPEALABLE
Disrupting Events includes:
Interfering with organized in-game events, trainings, or gatherings.
Failing to follow instructions given by event organizers.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = Kick from Event + Warning
3x = 3-Day Game Ban + Suspension from Future Events
27. Refusal to Roleplay
APPEALABLE
Refusal to Roleplay includes:
Ignoring or disrupting roleplay situations within the game.
Breaking character or refusing to follow the context of the roleplay.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = Kick
3x = 3-Day Game Ban
28. Misuse of Game Announcements
APPEALABLE
Misuse of Game Announcements includes:
Posting irrelevant, inappropriate, or spam messages in the announcement or broadcast channels.
Using announcements to draw unnecessary attention or disrupt gameplay.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = 1-Day Game Ban
3x = Rank Warning
29. Misleading Information
APPEALABLE
Misleading Information includes:
Providing false information to players or staff.
Spreading rumors or false reports about the game or its rules.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = 2-Day Game Ban
3x = 7-Day Suspension + Demotion
30. No Command Reason
APPEALABLE
Using commands without a valid reason includes:
Issuing commands like kick, ban, mute, or teleport without providing a proper reason.
Abusing commands on players arbitrarily or without context.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = Rank Warning
3x = 3-Day Game Ban
4x = 7-Day Game Ban
31. False Emergency Alarms
APPEALABLE
False Emergency Alarms includes:
Triggering emergency alarms without reason.
Activating alarms to cause panic or disrupt gameplay.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = 1-Day Game Ban
3x = 5-Day Game Ban + Rank Warning
32. Blocking Pathways
APPEALABLE
Blocking Pathways includes:
Intentionally standing in doorways, hallways, or exits to block other players' movement.
Obstructing essential areas to hinder gameplay.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = 1-Day Game Ban
3x = 3-Day Game Ban + Rank Warning
33. Weapon Hoarding
APPEALABLE
Weapon Hoarding includes:
Collecting multiple weapons unnecessarily, preventing others from accessing them.
Storing or hiding weapons in secret areas to avoid sharing with teammates.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = 3-Day Game Ban
3x = Rank Warning
34. Baiting Players
APPEALABLE
Baiting Players includes:
Intentionally provoking others to attack or break rules.
Using deceptive tactics to encourage others to violate rules.
Penalties:
1x = Warning
2x = 2-Day Game Ban
3x = 7-Day Game Ban + Demotion
35. Inappropriate Character Names or Outfits
APPEALABLE
Inappropriate Character Names or Outfits includes:
Using names that are offensive or disruptive.
Wearing outfits or items that block your name or rank.
Not Allowed:
Big Head or any oversized item that hides your name or rank.
Offensive items like Headless Horseman Head and any masks that cover your face in a bad way.
Outfits that look like restricted characters or have offensive symbols.
Penalties:
1x = Warning + Change your name/outfit
2x = 1-Day Game Ban + Cannot wear restricted outfits
3x = Demotion & Blacklist
36. AFK Grinding
Players are not allowed to AFK grind for more than 10 minutes.
Staff must have clear and undeniable proof (e.g., screenshots or video recordings) before issuing any punishment.
Punishments for AFK grinding must be reviewed by a higher authority before enforcement.
This rule is appealable, allowing players to contest any action taken against them.
Penalties:
1x = Warning + Check if the player is really afk
2x = Kick the player with a good reason
3x = 1 day Game ban
Summary of Penalties
Warning: This can be Send a Ingame Text Warning that Contains a Strong Message to Tell the player to stop With there actions.
Rank Warning: First notice of breaking rules Max 3 for Demotion.
Temporary Ban: Short-term removal from the server use the command Timeban.
Suspension: Temporary loss of privileges or rank.
Demotion/Termination: Losing your rank or being removed from the group.
Blacklist: Permanent ban from the server and group.
Appeal Process
You can appeal certain penalties by submitting a request in the communication servers and creating a ticket. Some offenses, like exploiting and breaking ROBLOX & Stonelock ToS, cannot be appealed.
